Born Roger Kassiano Smith in Hanover Jamaica, Kassiano a taurean started singing and performing at the age of six.
Three years later, he won his first gold medal in the national performing arts festival. This was the genesis of a prolific career as a recording artist, writer and musician, as in the years to follow, he performed at varios theatres across the island and received several gold, silver and bronze medals due to his successful participation in the national festival awards and later two films , “Going To Extremes”, with Christopher Walken and “scam” with international reggae artist, Maxi Priest.
During this time Kassiano studied painting at cornwall college and later went on to the university of the west indies where he graduated with a honours degree in Business management. |
